Friday @ Tiree Music Festival 2019

12pm -1pm:  The Boy and the Bunnet (U) & Secret Cinema (U)The Boy and the Bunnet is a brilliant way to introduce children (and adults) to the Scots language and Scots traditional instruments, then a special selection of animations and short films from around the world. 

1.15pm-1.30pm: THE HUR (Live Acoustic Set)

2pm-3pm: Discovery Film Festival – Shorts for Wee Ones (U)  – Short films from around the world for some of the youngest audiences at the festival, chosen from a whole range of different countries: this year we journey to France, the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden and the USA.  All these short films are in English or are dialogue free. These magical tales will delight children age 3+ and are a colourful introduction to the cinema experience.

3.15pm-3.30pm: ANNA RACHEL MACDONALD

4pm-5pm: SDI Shorts (PG) -Established in 2004 SDI have produced over a 100 films, screening in 60 countries worldwide, garnering international recognition as being at the cutting edge of the documentary sector. This programme features work from their flagship training Bridging the Gap.

5.45pm-6pm: CALLUM BEATTIE

6.15pm-7.15pm -Tiree on Film (U) – a selection of archive film from the Tiree Museum’s collection  

8.15pm-8.30pm: WILLIE CAMPBELL   

9pm-10.30pm -Stan and Ollie (PG) :Laurel and Hardy, the world’s most famous comedy duo, attempt to reignite their film careers as they embark on what becomes their swan song – a grueling theatre tour of post-war Britain.
