- 10.00am-11.00am: Discovery Film Festival – Shorts for Middle Ones (U)- Fresh and inventive, this collection of new short films from around the world offers something for everyone from the age of eight and up.
- 11am-11:45am: The Jupiter Rising Arkestra – Briefing – Utilising raw materials sourced from around the festival, participants will be invited to form the Jupiter Rising Arkestra which will perform a live soundtrack to a short film exploring the landscape at Jupiter Artland (see attached sheet for full details).
- 11.45 – 13:00: The Jupiter Rising Arkestra – Guided Sound Walk (optional) (see attached sheet for full details)
- 12.00pm-1.30pm: Moon Man(U) : A bored Man in the Moon hitches a ride to Earth on the tails of a passing comet and starts to explore the fantastical creatures and sights of a new planet. But all is not well – the Moon Man’s absence from his post means that all the world’s children are unable to sleep.
- 2.30pm-3.30pm : The Adventures of Prince Achmed (PG) (with live soundtrack by Chris Davies) – Join us for a very special screening of the world’s first feature length animation. Handmade by Lotte Reiniger in 1926 the film is reinvigorated by Chris Davies’ new Composition and live performance which uses a spectacular array of musical instruments from around the world to breath new life and meaning into Reiniger’s spectacular film. **This screening is supported by Film Hub Scotland, part of the BFI’s Film Audience Network, and funded by Screen Scotland and Lottery funding from the BFI.**

- 9pm -10.15pm: National Library of Scotland Moving Image Archive presents Her Century (U)– A glimpse into the work, home life and leisure of women during the twentieth century.The footage preserved in the National Library of Scotland Moving Image Archive documents the varied roles of women in Scotland throughout the last century.
- 10.30pm -12am: True Stories (PG): David Byrne (Talking Heads) visits a typical (and fictional) Texas town, on the eve of the town’s celebration of the state’s sesquicentennial. He meets various colorful local characters, most notably Lewis Fyne, a big-hearted bachelor in search of matrimony.
- 12.30am-2.30am: Cinemor 77 presents 79 Moons and Rising – a dreamy immersive, audio/visual experience with music by DJ Dougal Perman (RadioMagnetic) and live visuals by Filmmaker Simone Smith. Join us in the Yurt for a late night journey from Europa to Ganymede via Lo and beyond.
